The AMEENA is a new model in this line which takes its owner's concrete ideas into account in every last detail. As a consultant, Herbert Dahm monitored every step in the creation of this cruiser/racer and, as project manager, he ensured that the customer specifications were put into practice.
Below deck, the AMEENA offers a pleasant interior design which is light and sportily elegant. Its extended cockpit is covered by a sturdy multisectional canopy which can be opened at the press of a button.
In keeping with the owner's wishes, the AMEENA excels in light winds and can be sailed comfortably with a small crew. In 2004, she won the Showboats Award for the best sailing yacht less than 40 metres in length.
Almost incidentally, Herbert Dahm was able to establish a standard for Jongert with one particular detail of the AMEENA: the eye-catching teak border of the deck saloon is today a uniform hallmark which is common to all vessels in the Jongert 2900M line.
